Who We Are

About Our Organization

Our Story

Born from a Calling

The Love Thy Neighbor Project was founded with a big heart and a simple calling — to show up for people who need it most, right here in our own community.

What began as one act of service has grown into a community-wide effort. We serve elderly individuals who need a hand maintaining their homes, widows who face daily challenges alone, and people experiencing homelessness who need more than just a meal — they need to know someone cares.

We are not a large institution. We are neighbors. And we believe that's exactly what makes the difference.

We believe that everyone deserves to feel safe, valued, and cared for.

— The Love Thy Neighbor Project Mission

Our Mission

To care for our neighbors through practical help, compassion, and dignity — serving elderly individuals, widows, and those experiencing homelessness by meeting both physical and everyday needs.

What Guides Us

Our Core Values

Dignity

Every person we serve is treated with the same respect and care we would want for ourselves or our own family.

Compassion

We lead with empathy — showing up not just with supplies and tools, but with genuine human warmth.

Community

We believe neighbors should look out for one another. Our work is rooted in the simple idea that we are better together.

Practicality

We focus on real, tangible needs — the kind that make daily life safer, more comfortable, and more hopeful.

Ready to Be a Neighbor?

There are many ways to support our work — volunteer your time, donate resources, or simply spread the word. Every act of kindness helps us reach more people.
